[1] Cable Pull Type
It is the same as the traditional handbrake, only the manual cable is changed to the electric form. This is the early product of the electronic handbrake, precisely because of the low retrofitting cost of the cable-pulled electronic handbrake, which is more conducive to the design change of the model.
[2] Integrated caliper type
Mainly composed of brake caliper body, motor, belt, gear set, etc., it needs special brake caliper and related parking brake actuator, so the cost is relatively high. However, the integrated caliper type electronic handbrake abandons the steel cable of the cable traction type electronic handbrake and adopts electric signals to transmit control commands, which is more conducive to the simplification of the handbrake system and vehicle assembly.
